The Holidays Are Here…Don’t You Wish You Were Too?

Can you feel it? There’s a chill in the air. Can you hear it? There’s a sound of carols everywhere. Can you smell it? The smell of cinnamon and sugar flies without a care. Yes, my friends, holiday time has arrived at the Walt Disney World Resort. Over the next few weeks, we’ll be outlining some of our favorite things to do all around the resort during holiday time, from Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party at Magic Kingdom Park to romantic sleigh rides at Disney’s Port Orleans Resort, and so much…

A Pretzel as Big as Your Head!

Today’s #FoodFinds by Park Shoppers should be renamed FUNFoodFinds, because this was a hoot!

Samantha and I were in Epcot together for the first day of the inaugural International Festival of the Arts when the munchies hit hard. I had remembered seeing another guest pass me with a pretzel earlier in World Showcase, and that sounded like a good little nosh that we could share just to take the edge off of the hunger while we went…

Epcot Food and Wine Festival – Sunday @ Epcot #1

Happy Halloween!

If you’re celebrating any of the spiritual holidays and rituals last night or tonight, I pray you wisdom, enlightenment, and peace. If you’re simply having a fun and spooky Halloween, I wish you a safe one with lots of wonderful memories.

Here is my latest video. It’s the first in my Sunday @ Epcot series which I want to turn into a celebration of my dream and Epcot which is honestly the park that drew me here when I was 18, but more importantly, I want this to be the platform from which I speak to the world about…

Firework Fest Night One!

Tonight was truly remarkable. People asked me a lot when I was first starting this quest, “Won’t you get bored?” Well. I realize I still have a LONG way to go before I complete this year, and there are days that I’m only out there for the briefest of time and it seems rather rote, but nights like this are so much fun that it reminds me again how fortunate and blessed I feel to be able to do this at all.

One of the wonderful new friends I’ve met through Disney messaged me the day we found out Celebrate…

Morning in Future World

It’s a hot but beautiful day in Orlando, bright blue sky and big white fluffy clouds and I am here at Epcot. Yay!

I’ll be meeting with a friend for lunch in just a little bit, but while I wait, I thought I’d write out a brief post on mornings at the park and a few dos and don’ts, which is not my norm, but I’m feeling it right now, so I’m going with it!

First up, (more…)

The Chew Returns… and a trip down memory lane

Have we all heard that The Chew is coming back to the Food and Wine Festival at Epcot again this year?

I’m particularly excited because I was fortunate enough to get in to last year’s taping so I know what to expect!

Below is a re-post from another blog I was writing last year about my experience. I thought you all may enjoy reading about it, and as it gets closer, I’ll make a special post with tips from what I learned from last year’s adventure. You’re excited now, right? 😉

Enjoy this walk down memory lane and, as…

Central Florida Travel Tips: Hydration

What I’m about to write about isn’t the sexiest, most exciting topic in the world. But as we are now in the thick of summer, it’s an extremely important one. I hope you’ll share this article for others to see, because I’m serious when I tell you, this can make or break your vacation, and I want everyone to have such a wonderful time with their loved ones when they come here.

I have friends who work in first aid at several of the theme parks, and they are always talking about how many fainters they get over the summer…

Discover Epcot – Mexico (La Cantina de San Angel review)

This past Sunday I spent my entire day in Epcot’s Mexico and I finally allowed myself the luxury of eating at La Cantina de San Angel. This had been my favorite place back in 2006 when my friend took me to Disney World for my birthday. I loved the seating area, I’m a native Californian so Mexican food is in my blood, and I have so many wonderful memories of this little place.

I was saddened when I heard they’d changed it all, but since living here, I’ve had the opportunity to sit on the gazebo that stretches out over…
